Equus Ourique Equestrian Centre
Equus Ourique is an equestrian centre in the heart of the beautiful lower Alentejo in Portugal. The yard extends on 13 hectares of land set out as pastures, paddock trails and paddocks to accommodate all our livery clients’ horses and our own. At the yard, we offer riding holidays and lessons, horse livery and venue hiring. In addition, we sell a selection of top quality horse feed, supplements as well as horse and tack care.
Riding Lessons & Trail Rides
You are very welcome to join us for a riding holiday adventure or visit us for a lovely trail ride along the hills surrounding the yard. In addition, we offer riding lessons for children and adults.
Horse & Retirement Livery
We also offer horse and retirement livery as well as temporary livery. You can choose between various options according to the individual needs of your horse. In addition, we offer horse health care control and the management of your vet, dentist and farrier appointments. Should you want to bring more than one horse, your horses can stay together in a group. On request, we also offer to integrate one or more horses carefully into our herd.
Venue Hire & Event Location
If you are searching for a venue to host a clinic, an event such as animal assisted coaching sessions, a special lunch or birthday party, you are welcome to hire our facilities. We have two riding schools of 20×40 indoors and 50×70 outdoors at your disposal. We also offer a set of training jumps, soft & hard poles and other training equipment you may need.

Through our Equuso horse feed company we are selling a selection of top quality equine nutrition to horse owners across mainland Portugal and Spain.
