Equus Ourique is organising an orienteering trail ride on October 26th 2024. We start at 11 am. You are very welcome to participate with your own horse or one of ours. In small groups of 2-3 riders, the aim of this ride is to find a certain route in the terrain and complete small tasks at several stations along the way.
You will be given maps to help you find your way and there will be refreshments at one of the stations along the way. We finish with an optional late lunch menu together and you can also stay over the weekend, if you like. You find details in our application form below or upon request.
The orienteering trail ride will take around one and a half to two hours. Participation with your own horse costs 45 euros. If you would like to ride along with one of our horses, the cost is 60 euros. The optional lunch menu is 15 euros per person. The minimum number of participants is six.
Conditions for participation
This ride is not suitable for beginners. Participation with your own horse is possible from the age of eight if accompanied by an adult/parent. Participation with one of our horses from the age of 14 with the written consent of a parent or guardian.
